Akhlema Haidar, DO

Dr. Akhlema Haidar is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.

Dr. Haidar received her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia and completed her internal medicine residency at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan, where she held the position of Chief Resident. She was fellowship trained in pulmonology and critical care at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Haidar is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST), the American Thoracic Society, and the American Osteopathic Association.
