Ankur Choksi, MD

Dr. Ankur Choksi is fellowship trained in robotic surgery and minimally invasive urologic oncology. He specializes in the care of patients dealing with urologic cancers, kidney stones, symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate, and voiding dysfunction, among other conditions. Dr. Choksi focuses on providing exceptional patient care, working with patients to maximize their quality of life.
Dr. Choksi completed his fellowship training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, in Boston Massachusetts. He completed his urology residency at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year and was awarded the Richard Dean Compassionate Care Award for his excellence in patient care and bedside manner. Dr. Choksi earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland, where he received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Biomedical Research.

Dr. Choksi is a member of the American Urological Association. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed academic journal articles. He is fluent in and Gujarati and can converse in Hindi and Spanish.
