Sehris Khawaja, DO

Dr. Khawaja is a fellowship trained rheumatologist who diagnoses and treats diseases and systemic autoimmune conditions that affect the joints, muscles, blood vessels, and bones.

She completed her undergraduate training with honors from Temple University. After receiving her medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr Khawaja completed her internal medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She later completed her rheumatology fellowship training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She also provided care for patients at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center during her training.

Dr. Khawaja presented at Georgetown University Rheumatology Grand Rounds and has also presented research at regional medical conferences. She is an active member of several professional societies including the American College of Rheumatology, American College of Physicians, Association of Women in Rheumatology, and Pennsylvania Rheumatology Society. Dr Khawaja is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Her areas of interest include but are not limited to lupus, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, spondyloarthritis, and myositis. She has experience in performing arthrocentesis (joint aspiration and injection). Her goal is to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to help her patients live their best life.
