About Marissa Stabile, DO

Dr. Stabile is board certified in family medicine. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois and completed her family medicine internship/residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Stabile completed an medical education fellowship at the Medical Student Educators Development Institute, part of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.

Before joining Capital Health, Dr. Stabile was an attending physician at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey and at the University of Behavioral Health Care in Piscataway, New Jersey. In academic roles, she was an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, where she was also the associate program director for the Family Medicine Residency Program. She remains appointed as a volunteer faculty member.

Dr. Stabile has published research in several peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at a number of family medicine and primary care conferences. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.

Community service is important to Dr. Stabile. She has been a physician volunteer for a local clinic in New Brunswick, New Jersey and for international medical missions in Brazil, Mexico, and the Philippines.
