About Richard Leshner, DO
Dr. Richard Leshner is a board certified fellowship trained cardiologist with more than 35 years of experience serving patients in Bucks County. Dr. Leshner received his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also completed a general rotating internship in internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology. He completed an
internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Leshner was fellowship trained in cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, electrocardiography, and internal medicine.
Dr. Leshner’s current clinical interests include:
• Coronary artery disease
• Atrial fibrillation
• Vascular heart disease
Before joining Capital Health – Cardiology Specialists, Dr. Leshner was part of Newtown Cardiology for more than three decades. During this time, he was chief of the Cardiology Department at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania for 25 years. Dr. Leshner is currently a clinical instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
